Homes are meant to be places that encourage personal development and provide moral support. Here at Flat6Labs HQ, startups are meant to feel at home; they are offered the office space and facilities that are intended to encourage productivity and creativity. Flat6Labs HQ is fully loaded with workstations, brainstorming areas, and a sessions' auditorium. Also our chill-out area is at the service of our teams, providing an atmosphere for relaxation and unwinding-both of which are necessary for the morale of a team.
It always helps to have someone take the startup through the steps. At Flat6Labs HQ, the management team helps all startups by providing not only support, but by sharing knowledge on product development, business development, financials, creating and maintaining connections, legal matters, etc... The aim is to make sure that while the teams are working directly on their projects, they are also gaining the know-how necessary to make it on their own.
So many diverse fields go into the making of a successful startup, and an amount of expertise in each of them is necessary for success. During each cycle, Flat6Labs HQ team invites seasonal professionals, entrepreneurs, and AUC School of Business staff to give sessions on various topics, such as entrepreneurship, marketing, user experience, digital advertising, project management, etc... The sessions are designed to be interactive, giving the teams the chance to voice their opinion and ask questions that may help them further develop.
