Kaveh Gharib

Kaveh Gharib is the Head of International Marketing for the Facebook App. His career started in international humanitarian operations at the United Nations. He then transitioned into marketing and management and entered the technology world by joining Twitter in its earlier days. At Twitter, he built and led a cross-functional team responsible for the global expansion of Twitter products and marketing programs. He was the main advocate and project head for adding support for Arabic and other right-to-left languages. His passion for international business continued at Zendesk, a global leader in CRM, where he built the international marketing function from the ground up. In his spare time, Kaveh volunteers as an advisor to a number of startups in emerging markets, especially in the MENA region. He has had the honor of being recognized by the US Department of State, United Nations, and governments of UAE and Kuwait for leading initiatives supporting global entrepreneurship.
