Oman Shell “Intilaaqah” Program
(Intilaaqah) is Oman Shell’s flagship entrepreneurship programme and one of the Sultanate’s leading initiatives dedicated to supporting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The programme is designed to equip Omani entrepreneurs with the knowledge, practical tools, strategic networks, and business support needed to build resilient, competitive, and sustainable businesses. The programme also aims to help build a stronger base of sustainable SMEs that contribute to Oman’s economy and create opportunities for Omani youth.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE APPLYING
Oman Shell “Intilaaqah” combines advanced capacity building, tailored one-on-one mentorship, and strategic advisory support to help participating businesses scale sustainably, strengthen their market position, and expand into new markets.
Delivery runs across a three-to-four-month core cycle, followed by six months of post-program support, integrating direct exposure to investors and financing opportunities.
In alignment with Oman Vision 2040, the program is positioned to drive job creation, deepen local economic participation, and reinforce Oman Shell’s role as a catalyst for inclusive, sustainable growth.
Selection Criteria
Who we’re looking for:
– Business maturity: at least 2 years in operation.
– Ownership: Omani-owned and Oman-registered businesses.
– Team size: typically 2–149 employees.
– Growth ambition: sustained, consistent monthly revenue.
– Sector: sector-agnostic — open to all industries.
– Innovation: “innovative SMEs” — through product, technology, or business model.
– Geography: open to all governorates, with a preference for Ad Dakhiliyah, Ad Dhahirah, and Al Wusta.
– In-Country Value: a preference, valued but not mandatory.

Program Process
Intensive Bootcamp and Selection Committee
30 shortlisted SMEs will join an on-ground intensive bootcamp to kick off the program, build peer connections and will include diversified workshops and sessions from trainers and experts. The bootcamp is followed by a selection committee, where the SMEs will pitch and the final cohort of 15 SMEs will be selected to join the program.
Acceleration Cycle
Selected SMEs will join a 3-4 month acceleration curriculum focused on business operations and efficiency, advanced market strategy, financial management, and scalability support. SMEs will get access to finance opportunities through finance mixers, including exposure to local venture capital and international investors. SMEs will also get tailored mentorship, expert access, and structured coaching matched to each business's needs.
Closing Ceremony
The program's cycle will come to an end with a closing ceremony, which will include cash prizes for the top-performing businesses and the opportunity for them to connect and network with investors, partners and key stakeholders in Oman's entrepreneurship ecosystem.
