Egypt PropTech Challenge 2026
The Egypt PropTech Challenge is a premier competition for innovative startups in real estate sectors. It aims to put a spotlight on startups developing sustainable solutions across PropTech, ConTech, Smart Cities, and Property and Asset Management.
Held during Cityscape Egypt 2026, the challenge brings together startups, industry leaders, and investors to showcase transformative tech in the sector and highlight its new solutions.
Organised by Cityscape Egypt, the 3rd edition of Egypt Proptech Challenge partners with Flat6Labs to bring together startups, industry leaders, and investors to showcase transformative tech in the sector and highlight its new solutions.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE APPLYING
Egypt PropTech Challenge 2026 is open to national and global startups who create innovative solutions across the real estate sectors.
Winners are chosen based on their problem-solution fit, innovation and uniqueness, market potential, team capabilities, and traction or business model viability.
To participate in the competition, startups must meet our criteria outlined below.
Selection Criteria
For early-stage startups:
1- Age of Company: Must be less than 30 months old
2- Funding Status: Must not have raised more than $200,000 in funding from angels, institutional investors, and/or accelerators.
3- Product/Service Stage: Must have a working product or service, or a minimum viable product (MVP).
4- Revenue: Ideally, total annual revenue should not exceed $100,000.
For growth-stage startups:
1- Age of Company: Must be more than 30 months old
2- Revenue: Total annual revenue should exceed $200,000.
3- Market Traction: Must demonstrate significant market traction (e.g., customer base, partnerships, or geographic expansion).
4- Scalability: Must have a scalable business model with a clear path to further growth.

Program Process
OPEN APPLICATIONS
Applications are open for interested startups to apply through the online form.
FILTRATION AND INTERVIEWS
Applications are filtered and our team sets one-on-one interviews with the top applicants to take a closer look at their solution.
PREPARATION PHASE
Once 12 startups are selected to join the program, they will join pitch nights where they get to practice their presentation and recieve individual feedback to enhance their pitches before the competition.
COMPETITION
The selected startups will pitch their solution in front of a panel of ecosystem leaders and judges during Cityscape Summit on October 3rd, 2026, getting industry-wide exposure and networking opportunities with investors and peers.
ANNOUNCING THE WINNERS
Following the final pitch, the winners will be announced and offered free exhibition space in Cityscape Egypt of the following year, in addition to WRK+ premium workspace access and more perks.
